New Narratives

New Ways of Seeing is a two-day festival in Paris produced by New Narratives, exploring how emerging technologies are transforming the way we create, perceive, and share images. It brings together artists, researchers, designers, and technologists for a shared inquiry into the future of creativity and perception.

New Ways of Seeing
Project overview

A symposium-meets-festival for a time of accelerated change, New Ways of Seeing takes place on October 24–25, 2025, during Paris Art Week. Founded by Kim Lê Boutin in 2025 as a French non-profit, the festival sits at the intersection of art, technology, performance, digital culture, and research.

At a moment when discussions about AI and digital culture often happen separately in universities, cultural institutions, and industry events, New Ways of Seeing creates a common space for dialogue. The festival’s curated program of artistic-scientific conversations and live performances encourages participants to explore how technological shifts are reshaping perception, identity, and creativity.

More than a single event, New Ways of Seeing is conceived as an evolving initiative and movement, aiming to foster critical thinking, curiosity, and agency around emerging technologies. Its mission is to empower individuals and communities to navigate change with confidence, imagination, and care.
